[She says with a warm smile and moves in, wrapping her arms around him and pulling him close for a hug.]

[ he says softly, and then he lets her. he thinks it might be awkward, but it isn't. her hug is warm and enveloping, and Jason truly can't remember the last time anyone hugged him. he pulls his hands from his pockets and wraps his arms around her as well, hugging her back lightly. he doesn't want to overdo it. but it also feels so nice that he doesn't really want to let go. ]

[Dawn is great at hugs, even Donna who usually doesn't like them would have to admit it, and when Jason wraps his arms around her and gives a little bit back she smiles and gives him a gentle squeeze.]

[She says, swaying a little which makes him do the same since she's still got him in her arms.]

[She chuckles and continues to hug him.]

[A voice says behind them and Dawn heaves a sigh and turns to see Hank scowling at them.]

[She asks and his frown grows.]

Rachel said there were cookies but it looks like someone else is getting some sugar.

[ Rachel. of course. she probably said something snarky and shitty about him and their pretend flirting, so here Hank is, ready to see what that little snitch was talking about.

Jason does let his arms drop of out of the hug, though. this is why he can't have nice things. ]

[Dawn removes her arms from around Jason but she doesn't move away from him, instead she turns and looks at Hank with a steady unimpressed gaze. Hank's jaw clenches a little but his eyes move from Jason to Dawn and for once he decides to not push things.]

Yeah, yeah. That true Dawn? There's none left?

[He asks instead of threatening Jason and she rewards him with a smile, motioning to the plate.]

[Jason says with a cocky grin, because he just can't help himself.]

[Hank snorts as he shoves Dawn's cookie into his mouth and chews on it, looking just a bit sulky.]

[Dawn says and gives Jason a playful nudge with her hip.]

[Hank groans and Dawn chuckles but then gives Jason a warm smile.]
