RP with Rachel/Raven

[It took a little longer than expected to plan out all the details and secure a firm date for their girl's night but finally Dawn had booked a flight and hotel and made the long journey from Paris to San Francisco, giving herself one day to sleep off the jet lag and then the next day it's time to meet Rachel.

She feels excited but also a little nervous, it feels like a lot has happened between then and now and she hopes nothing will be weird between them. She's missed Rachel a lot and when she arrives at the coffee shop they agreed to meet at she sits down on the patio, taking out her phone to shoot Rachel a text that says:]

I'm here.

Okay okay.

[A pause and she smiles at Rachel.]

But you've thought about kissing him, right?

[feelthedarkness]

[ Rachel chuckles and turns a little red. ]

Yeah, of course.

[dawn_is_breaking]

Would he be your first kiss?

[feelthedarkness]

[ She tucks some hair behind her ear again and bites her lip. ]

Is it that obvious?

[dawn_is_breaking]

Only a little. I think Gar would be a great first kiss.

You'd probably be his first too.

You think so?

What was your first kiss like?

[dawn_is_breaking]

Yes.

[Dawn chuckles and pushes back some of her hair.]

My first kiss was nice, it was with a girl in my ballet class. We were thirteen and good friends and one day after practice we started talking about kissing and we thought 'hey let's just try it instead of waiting for a boy to do it to us'.

Turns out I liked it and thus began my slow realization that I was bisexual.

Your first kiss was with a girl?

[ Rachel's a little shocked by this, but glad Dawn is being open with her. ]

What was that like?

[dawn_is_breaking]

Yes, it was.

[She says with a smile.]

And it was really soft, shy and very sweet. We kissed a few more times after that but then she moved away.

I'm sorry she moved away.

[dawn_is_breaking]

It's okay, it happens and at least I'll always remember her fondly.

If she hadn't moved away, do you think you would have dated? Like...officially?

[dawn_is_breaking]

Probably not, we were so young and I don't think she felt the same way I did. For her it was just a bit of fun, where as for me it was an awakening.

It must have been a little hard after she left though, right?

A little bit, I had all these thoughts and feelings that I had to figure out by myself but in the end it was probably a good thing. I got to sort through them and figure out what they meant to just me, instead of me and someone else.

My second kiss was with a boy.

And how old were you for that one?

[dawn_is_breaking]

Fifteen.
It was this red headed boy who lived down the block from me.

Just a kiss or did you date?

[dawn_is_breaking]

We went on a few dates and did a lot of kissing.

Did you love him?

[dawn_is_breaking]

No, we were fond of one another but I didn't fall in love till I was seventeen.

I think I love Gar.

[dawn_is_breaking]

That's wonderful.

But I'm realizing it when we're basically at the end of the world.
